I was born in Peru and this place is really good for the price point. This is the only Peruvian restaurant in Sacramento that my super picky Peruvian mom is ok with so that should tell you something. I personally would prefer it to be less salty though. I also like the homey vibes and that it's super unassuming. That's a preference though - I care more about food, not the aesthetics, that's more of a plus for me but not a requirement. You can go to the ones in Roseville/Midtown (Huaca, Chicha) but it'll be twice as much. Also the presentation is great at those restaurants but the flavor is not authentic. My mom almost walked out of those restaurants just on flavor alone.

The ceviche is not to be missed - fresh and zesty. The food itself was unfortunately nothing to write home about but hit the spot for sure. We had the Chaufa and the lomo Saltado. The chaufa was fantastic and was up there with the ones I tried in Peru. The Lomo sauce should have been much richer. That said - fantastic service, and a great little find. Definitely one of the more interesting eats in the Sacramento area. Ps - you should should serve pisco sours !

I had the Peruvian pescador, my wife had a very flavorful chicken dish and her boss had the marisco. Mine was fried just so and the fish was very tender and was very flavorful. The tarter sauce had some spice and lime inside and made for a wonderful dip for the fried seafood. They also have a pesto like dip from the salsa bar that made the chips taste perfect. Everything was so good and the servings were generous. A great treat!

I just stumbled on this place and this is how I know I got god on my side. This is the most fire beef tacos I have ever had. It’s like the best fat-less flank steak style marinated beef. I will be coming here for now on. Small spot but amazing food and nice staff Update: churro was so amazing I had to come back and write this update.

Stopped in for a late lunch today and it just happened to be Happy Hour! Lots of good stuff on there and they also have daily specials. We tried 4 dishes today and they were all delicious! There was also a chips and salsa bar. The creamy green sauce was my favorite. We will stop in again the next time we're in the area! The location of the restaurant is a bit sketchy but the food was definitely worth it.

My wife and I were visiting Northern California from Seattle and this was easily in the top 2 of food we ate

I must say I loved this place,the food was very hot and freshly made, I have heard about this place and how good their food is and it did not disappoint, however service was not good, guy at the register seemed overwhelmed with online and App orders and had us wait for 7 minutes,when we were the only customers Dinning in in the Restaurant.
